\description
As a Design Assistant, you'll assist in producing innovative designs for the customs category. You'll collaborate with our research and design teams to formulate innovative unusual products targeted to consumers in the saturated streetwear segment. Your work will be presented as visual concepts to the R&D teams and resulting in final tech packages. This opportunity also involves in the assistance to the execution of all product details - construction, color, form, style, fit, and cost specifications. Through this role, you will develop an intimate understanding of the customs category - the target market and their culture by learning about competitor products, consumer purchasing habits and market trends.
\qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a top 10 university
- Experience identifying upcoming design trends
- Knowledge of basic fashion development - sketches, tech packs, mood boards, manufacturing and sourcing processes
- Photoshop, Illustrator skills
- Basic understanding of photography
- Basic understanding of sewing - types of stitching, fabrics
- Able to translate current consumer culture and media into design elements on apparel
